I am so excited for each of you! Order food today so that you have it when you get home with your puppy. They eat the grain free all stages Life's Abundance You will not find this food at the store and your puppy should eat the same food during the first year of his life while his GI system matures. They also love their bully sticks. Puppy Pick Up Is For Essential Adults Only! Please respect that other families are on a tight schedule.

Pikachu's puppies have definitely blossomed into gorgeous little balls of fluff. They are doing great with their night time crating and love playing on the slide and with their toys! If it ever stops raining they will get to enjoy more than two days of playing outside.

Currently their reservation list is closed, after their final vet visit on the 10th we will make our decision on opening the reservation list again. We have held out the tiny party puppy to insure that it clears its physical.

This crew is hard to keep in one place! Their families are going to have a lot of fun with Pikachu's babies! They love the play, they love to give kisses, they love to bounce! They love life! Seriously this is a group of happy happy happy puppies, constant tail wags and kisses!

Pikachu's babies have decided that they love their slide and have tortured their toys... LOL... They are funny little puppies. They are eating softened Life's Abundance and nursing several times a day. They are still working on mastering their potty station but are doing really well with it.

The tiny baby is holding its own and doing well. I get a lot of inquiries regarding this baby. I will have it fully evaluated before it is placed. In fact it will not be assigned until it has received full clearances.

Some bunny is getting big! Pika's babies have officially left their whelping box. Two nights in a row they were all out of their baby bed. They are using their potty station and think they want to eat big kid food but they aren't ready for that just yet.

They are starting to explore the toys that have been added to their area. They are in a nice sunny spot in my office and love to nap in the warm sun all sprawled out.

The really are a sweet little bunch of babies.

Pika's puppies' eyes have just opened but they still do not have full vision and won't even at 8 weeks of age.  They can tell by smell if I or someone else has walked into the room.  They are moving on their own and actually standing up and taking a few steps.

This week the puppies have continued to be handled daily and received Bio-Senor feedback which helps them build healthy immune systems, improved cardio vascular performance, stronger adrenal glands, more tolerance to stress and greater resistance to disease.

The U.S. Military in their canine program developed a method that still serves as a guide to what works. In an effort to improve the performance of dogs used for military purposes, a program called "Bio Sensor" was developed. Later, it became known to the public as the "Super Dog" Program. Based on years of research, the military learned that early neurological stimulation exercises could have important and lasting effects. Their studies confirmed that there are specific time periods early in life when neurological stimulation has optimum results. The first period involves a window of time that begins at the third day of life and lasts until the sixteenth day. It is believed that because this interval of time is a period of rapid neurological growth and development, and therefore is of great importance to the individual.

The "Bio Sensor" program was also concerned with early neurological stimulation in order to give the dog a superior advantage. Its development utilized six exercises, which were designed to stimulate the neurological system. Each workout involved handling puppies once each day. The workouts required handling them one at a time while performing a series of five exercises. Listed in nor order of preference the handler starts with one put and stimulates it using each of the five exercises. The handler completes the series from beginning to end before starting with the next pup. The handling of each pup once per day involves the following exercises:

1. Tactile stimulation - holding the pup in one hand, the handler gently stimulates (tickles) the pup between the toes on any one foot using a Q-tip. It is not necessary to see that the pup is feeling the tickle. Time of stimulation 3 - 5 seconds.

2. Head held erect - using both hands, the pup is held perpendicular to the ground, (straight up), so that its head is directly above its tail. This is an upwards position. Time of stimulation 3 - 5 seconds

3. Head pointed down - holding the pup firmly with both hands the head is reversed and is pointed downward so that it is pointing towards the ground. Time of stimulation 3 - 5 seconds

4. Supine position - hold the pup so that its back is resting in the palm of both hands with its muzzle facing the ceiling. The pup while on its back is allowed to sleep struggle. Time of stimulation 3-5 seconds.

5. Thermal stimulation - use a damp towel that has been cooled in a refrigerator for at least five minutes. Place the pup on the towel, feet down. Do not restrain it from moving. Time of stimulation 3-5 seconds.

Sweet little snuggle bunnies are one week old today and Pikachu is doing a great job. The itty bitty baby is doing well and we are watching it closely to always make sure that it is warm enough and that it always has a full belly.

The puppies have otherwise doubled in size, their collars have been adjusted because they were getting snug.

Pika is doing well and loves her babies and all of the extra attention.

Everyone is doing great. There is one tiny baby and we are taking extra special care to watch and tend to it's needs. It is a very strong puppy but I recognize that it is a lot smaller right now.
